Using GitHub's repository search API, one gets access to data of all GitHub repositories.

There's the posibility of filtering by date, number of stars, languages, etc.

I found this API because I'm a frequent GitHub user. In this scenario, my request's options filtered by date of creation and content.

This API can help individuals keep track of their source code. For example, they can get a repo's commit or deployment history.

It can also be useful when researching software trends in the world of Open Source, as one can sort repositories by indicators of popularity.
